TiVo's new site

Newtivosite In the previous post, Josh noticed that the URL of the new TiVo site shown at CES is live:

http://www-qa.tivo.com/

The site looks very simple and streamlined, spending most of the space explaining and selling TiVo to potential new customers. The current site feels like a mish-mash of hundreds of pages all speaking to different audiences, but the new site looks like a manageable amount of information (maybe 20-25 pages?) that steer you towards buying one which should be the focus of a company site.

All the current owner information is behind the "My TiVo" login in the upper right, so there aren't any missing features. Overall, I really like it and think it's a huge improvement.

Wow, that's sweet. Looks nice in Widescreen.

Heh. I'm sure TiVo's QA team appreciate the extra "testing" they'll be receiving as a result of this post.

Pretty slick. Nice scoop. Any idea when it goes live? Tivo.com definately needs a facelift.

I agree the site looks great. They've updated the advertising section, but I think they have some additional content updating to do. The testimonials are from 2004, the celebrity reviews are dated and the news and reviews date back to 2005.

Just took a quick look, seems it doesn't access current account info. It doesn't show my S3 machine, I recently purchased
