Big Announcement From TiVo Coming Tomorrow

Thomas Hawk broke news of a  big announcement from TiVo coming tomorrow at 11AM EST. I have no idea what it could be, but I would guess from the secret and short-term nature of the press conference, it can't be too big. Maybe it's the Comcast/TiVo deal spelled out?

I have a friend in NYC that will be attending and sending me updates, so if all goes well tomorrow morning, I'll have him live-blogging from the event here in the next post, and we'll get photos later that day. Stay tuned to this site tomorrow at 8AM Pacific/11 AM Eastern for updates on the announcement.

comcast deal?

I think it will be the World first TIVO IPTV; or Series III ready to be rolled out; or another set of pattent issued; or better a Time Warp" deal with the rest of the DVR Industry. Tivo has some many surprises that who knows?
Thanks

Well, I think MSFT is going to announce their "Origami" product tomorrow, which is expected to be some sort of portable computing platform. Maybe these are related?

I guess we have another 13 hours before be know for sure... If KidZone comes to pass, it won't do much for me - but maybe it'll move boxes amongst those with small children.

If it is Kidzone, why would they announce it in NYC, at the museum of TV & film?

I think Dave's got it right, it's probably some dumb IFC direct-to-tivo release deal.
