CES week

CesThe Consumer Electronics Show (CES) runs this week in Las Vegas, and this year it's bigger than ever thanks to the shuttering of last fall's COMDEX show. While I can't seem to find anyone on the floor in Vegas doing any real-time reporting, Engadget and Gizmodo are good places to watch the flurry of new gadget announcements this week from Las Vegas. If you know of any others covering the event, please post them in the comments.

I'll be showing up there on Friday and will do my best to run around taking photos and info on all the new PVR-related products I can find, and hopefully posting them later that day.

Looking forward to your report.

My hero!

Sounds like Tivo on a Cable Card may be announced at CES?

Hey, I'm in Vegas already - I'm here through Monday. Unfortunately I never got around to getting a digital camera, and my Clie just decided to stop taking photos, so I only have my camera phone. But I do have a laptop and GPRS and I'm not afraid to use it. :-)

I'll be posting news in the TiVoLovers and BlurayDisc LJ communities most likely.

It'd be cool to meet you in person.

G4TechTV's Screensavers program is dedicating Thursday's and Friday's shows (1/6 & 1/7/05) to the CES.

Their website will likely have some CES material.
