Tivo Gets Nod for Users to Share Digital Shows

Great news! TiVo got FCC approval for the TiVo ToGo feature. See the "you can only innovate if the FCC, NFL, and MPAA say so" post from last week for background on this landmark decision.

It's still crazy that TiVo has to go to the FCC to ask permission to innovate. Glad that it worked out this time.

I think this is a great victory for content sharing! The FCC finally didn't give into the big guys!

It's odd to see these stories from a few years ago. Tivo had such promise!
