PVRblog in the New York Times!

STOP THE WEBSERVERS!!!

James Fallows mentions PVRblog in his article about Google's AdSense!!!

Just as eBay connects each seller to a universe of potential buyers, AdSense connects each blogger and local Webmaster to 150,000 potential advertisers. The crucial point is that the blogger reaches those potential advertisers without having to hire a sales staff, prepare media kits or invest scarce time and money.
...
The operators of PVRBlog, which covers TiVo and related devices, have told a similar story. Even blogs dealing with political and social themes have received modest new revenue streams.
How cool is that?!?! One of my favorite writers mentions us in the NYTimes!!!

Wow, I talk to a lot of reporters about this site (two in the last week alone), but I don't remember talking to anyone at the NYT. Cool.

That is cool! However, note that on their web site they link to TiVo but not to PVRBlog. Maybe you could get them to fix that.

Wow, Congrats! That is awesome!

I think I first decided to put google adsense ads on my site, after listening to a Google Presentation at O'reilly's E-tech conference in San Diego where they mentioned your site as a success story and I saw this article.

Adsense really is a great way for some web publishers to get unobtrusive, targeted ads that pay reasnonably well, easily on to their site.

*shrug* of course YMMV =)

congrats again, Matt.

At least it wasn't that WSJ fuck Mossberg.

Your site is also the example site on google's adsense pages. I imagine a lot of people find it through there.
